  2. MusicBuilder 1.0 Final Release Shipping

  4. MusicBuilder is a music creation application for NEXTSTEP. It allows you
  5. to enter scores, to place players in an orchestra, to create voices, and
  6. to put them all together to produce NEXTSTEP sound files. It provides an
  7. easy-to-use graphical interface, but also allows some access to the
  8. underlying mathematical system if desired.
  9.  
  10. A prerelease of MusicBuilder has been out for a while. All bugs reported
  11. for it, and a number of unreported ones, have been fixed. Installation
  12. and file handling have been improved significantly. It is not planned to
  13. submit a new demonstration version until new main features of MusicBuilder
  14. will be available. Please mail to suckow@contrib.de if you want a demo of the
  15. final release to be installed on the ftp-servers. I may change my plans.

  17. MusicBuilder is available now. It runs on NEXT computers and on Intel
  18. processors under NEXTSTEP 3.1 and 3.2 (3.0 under work).

  20. MusicBuilder comes for a suggested retail price of $199 plus VAT, handling,
  21. and shipping. Floating multi-user network licenses are also available.
